Back when Flash-animated websites were all the rage, the owners of Sell Us Your Books.com asked Margaret’s Folly to create a website with a Flash-animated introduction. They asked for two separate design components to meld together into one cohesive design… their love of Scottish terriers and the 1950s design style for which Margaret is known. The result is a funny, quirky little stick figure who falls to the ground and then catches a book and begins to read as a Scottish terrier approaches him and says “book, book” (instead of “bark, bark.”) Margaret photographed the books and animated the headers on each page as well.
