Margaret’s Folly redesigned the logo and the website for The Hills Restaurant in 2007 but the site underwent a slight redesign again in the summer of 2008. For the most part, Margaret kept the same look and feel that she gave the site in 2007… the improvements to the site were more functional than fashionable. Margaret recreated the site using an open source software program that allows George Ricciardi and his staff to update their website without the need to incur maintenance fees from Margaret. The site uses a JavaScript-based plugin to allow photos to virtually jump off the page – enabling brides-to-be and other website visitors to see enlarged photos of the Hills Restaurant in glorious living color. The site uses blog software to update the restaurant’s specials enabling website visitors to read about the specials while George & Co. change their website daily… helping their website climb higher and higher in Google’s search results.
